Distribution of food, clothing and medical supplies to Rohingya refugees
1.1 million Rohingyas fleeing from Myanmar are living in the hills of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The world’s largest shelter camp has been created by exposing the mountain forest. Several camps have also been set up in nearby Teknaf and Ukhia.
The UN has described atrocities against the Rohingya as ‘textbook ethnic cleansing’. At least 1.1 Milion people have fled Myanmar in search of refuge over the last two years – with over half of the refugees caught up in the crisis said to be children. With homes destroyed and educational access limited, trauma is widespread and whole childhoods have been stolen away from thousands of innocents. AJSM TRUST have been working tirelessly to meet the needs of both Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and the besieged populations within Myanmar’s Rakhine State – providing food, water, shelter, health and education programmes to the affected.
As the Rohingya refugee camp is only 60 km away from the office of AJSM TRUST, we are able to deliver food, clothing and medical aid to the Rohingya refugee camp quickly.
There are two public representatives among our directors. We are committed to providing food, clothing and medical assistance to the Rohingya refugee camps with the money you donated properly for their efficient management.
