COVID-19:

Food/Relief distribution: Among the workless/helpless/starving people by Anjuman E Jahangiria Shahsufi Momtazia Trust, Bangladesh.

Hazratul Hajj Allama Shahsufi Syed Mohammad Ali Maddajilluhul Ali distributed food / relief items among one and a half thousand families in different villages of Chandanaish and Patiyaa upazilas of Chittagong district of Bangladesh on 22 April 2020. The relief materials were delivered to the homes of the poor families who were unemployed due to the lock down of the entire Bangladesh due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Corona virus Disease. The Executive Director of the Trust Maulana Muhammad Moti Mia Monsur, Vice Chairman Alhaj Abdur Rahim Badsha and Alhaj Nurul Absar, Director Md. Habibur Rahman and Md. Jasim Uddin and other local dignitaries were present at the occasion. The relief distribution started from Jahangiria Shahsufi Momtazia Darbar Sharif Maidan at 8 am and continued throughout the day. Chandanaish Upazila in West Elahabad Darbar Sharif’s West side, east side, south side, Shahsufi Bari, Kanchan Nagar, Abbas Para, Majherpara, Dighir Para, Mostan Ali Shah Para, Shaira Para, Azam Bari Para, Maizpara, Darop Bari, Kendua Para, Railway Station, Hashimpur, Syedabad, Harala, Haidgaon of Patia Upazila, Shrimai, Mollapara, Bahuli, Kachuai, Kharna, Shovanandi and a few other areas. The relief supplies were delivered to the homes of the victims by truck and van. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Corona virus) this initiative was taken to reach the houses without gathering the people in this place.

Momtazia Trust Director Md Ferdous also distributed relief items to the needy in Hijla upazila of Barisal district.

Anjuman -E Jahangiria Shahsufi Momtazia Trust is a trustee organization approved by the Government of Bangladesh. So far, from our own fund we have already distributed the relief of BD TK. 1,17,14,298 (One Crore Seventeen Lakh Fourteen Thousand and Two Hundred Ninety Eight Taka) in many religious and social activities as well as to the engulfed people by COVID-19 . Now We want to deliver relief materials to more 25000 (twenty five thousand) starving people. For this purpose we need at least $ 5,00,000 / (Five lakh) US dollars.
