COVID-19, Food Supply among starving people

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 Corona Virus, Bangladesh has been suffering from chronic food shortages for low income, poor working class people of the country due to lock-down for about 2 month. It is very essential to reach out to these people with food supplies and sanitizers.

AJSM Trust is a trustee organization approved by the Government of Bangladesh. So far, from our own fund we have already distributed the relief of tk 1,17,14,298 (one crore seventeen lakh fourteen thousand and two hundred ninety eight taka) in many religious and social activities as well as to the engulfed people by COVID-19 .

Now We want to deliver relief materials to more 1 lakh starving people. For this purpose we need at least $ 20,00,000 / (twenty lakh) US dollars.

Distribution of food, clothing and medical supplies to Rohingya refugees

1.1 million Rohingyas fleeing from Myanmar are living in the hills of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The world’s largest shelter camp has been created by exposing the mountain forest. Several camps have also been set up in nearby Teknaf and Ukhia.

Currently Rohingya refugees are living in inhumane lives due to food, clothing and medical crisis.

As the Rohingya refugee camp is only 60 km away from the office of AJSM TRUST, we are able to deliver food, clothing and medical aid to the Rohingya refugee camp quickly.

There are two public representatives among our directors. We are committed to providing food, clothing and medical assistance to the Rohingya refugee camps with the money you donated properly for their efficient management.

Who is an orphan?

The word orphan is Arabic, meaning lonely. An orphan is a child whose father has died, he will be considered an orphan until he becomes an adult, the orphan’s name will be separated from him after he becomes an adult. And the girl child will be considered an orphan before marriage, after marriage she will no longer be called an orphan.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: No one remains an orphan after reaching adulthood. Meshkat Sharif: Page No. 264

If you take care of orphans, you can get a high seat in Paradise

It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Sa’d that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I and the orphan will be in Paradise like this. He pointed with his index and middle fingers and distinguished between the two. (Bukhari in narration)

• Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated that the best house for Muslims is the one in which there are orphans and they are treated well. The worst is the house that has orphans in it, but it is badly used. Then he said with his finger: I and the orphan will be in Paradise like this. (Ibn Majah)

Paradise is gained by raising orphans and comforting them

It is narrated on the authority of ‘Amr bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say that a person who includes a dying Muslim orphan in his diet until Allah makes him self-sufficient. Paradise is inevitable for that person. (Musnad Ahmad: 39/25)

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): I have created mankind only for My worship. Surah Jariyat, verse-51/56

If there is any deviation in the worship of the human race, Allah has made arrangements to make up for it. Fasting is one of the acts of worship of Almighty Allah. And in order to make up for all the errors and omissions in the observance of this fast, Allah has made provision for the payment of Sadaqatul Fitr. It is not appropriate to change and refine this provision for our convenience. Because Islam is the only infallible, flawless and complete system of life. When Deen Islam has reached perfection, it is very important to keep the doubt of imperfection in mind.

Sadaqatul Fitr on which it is obligatory:

Sadaqatul Fitr is obligatory for all Muslim men and women, young and old. In this regard, Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) made it obligatory on the slaves and freemen of his ummah, men and women, young and old, one-sixth of the amount of dates or barley to be paid before leaving for Eid. Instructed to. (Bukhari – Muslim, Mishkat H / 1615).

If a person dies on the morning of Eid, it is not obligatory for him to pay Fitra. Again, if a child is born on the morning of Eid, it is obligatory for him to pay Fitra. Sadaqatul Fitr is the chadka of life, not of wealth. Therefore, it is obligatory for all living Muslims to pay their dues. Even if a person is able to observe Shiaam, Fitra is obligatory for him. (Miraat 7/175 p.)

Amount of Sadaqatul Fitr :

One gram of food grain per head should be collected for everyone as Sadaqatul Fitr . Chha ‘is a kind of weighing vessel of that time. The best wheat weighs 2 kg 40 gm in the time of Nabi Kareem (R). Different crops have different weights. One teaspoon of rice weighs about 2 kg 500 g. However, one gram of wheat, barley, maize, dates, etc. weighs more than 2 kg 225 grams. One kg of Iraqi rice weighs 2 kg 400 gm or proof size four handfuls of rice. At present in our country one and a half kg of rice is produced.

Duration of payment and distribution of Sadaqatul Fitr :

It is obligatory to collect Sadaqatul Fitr a day or two before Eid and distribute it afterwards. Before Eid-ul-Fitr, Sahabaye Keram used to deposit Fitra with the Baitul Maal depositor.

This is the Sunnat method of collecting the adaqatul Fitr , which should be distributed among the right holders after the Eid salat [Bukhari H / 1511, Zakat Chapter Paragraph-77

The expiation and expiation of the Ramadan

God has made fasting obligatory for His servants in the month of Ramadan. The servant observes it eagerly. If for any reason he is not able to fast on time, he has to pay the qaza, and if he breaks the fast due to some excuse or inconvenience, he has to pay the qaza later. Qaza is a fast instead of a fast. Kazaa Roza can be conveniently performed at any time, it is not necessary to perform all Kazaa Roza together. Allaah is very displeased when one breaks the fast without any excuse due to deception or persecution. For this both qaza and kaffara have to be paid.

Atonement can be paid in three ways.

First, to free a slave or free a slave,

Second, to observe 60 consecutive fasts.

Third, to feed or entertain 60 poor people with double satisfaction.

Qaza is one instead of one roza, and Kaffara is 60. Without such an excuse, the number of fasts he breaks will be one qaza instead of each, and an expiation will be added to it for the same month of Ramadan. In other words, if a fast is broken without a logical reason, there will be 61 fasts and expiation for it, if two fasts are broken, there will be 72 fasts, and if there are three breaks, there will be 63 fasts. If 30 similar fasts are broken, there will be 90 fasts.

The fast of expiation has to be realized by maintaining continuity together. If a person has a total of 81 or more including qaza and kaffara, then he has to perform at least 61 consecutive fasts. If the expiation breaks or breaks in the middle of the fast, another expiation will become obligatory. In other words, if there is a break before 71 is completed, you have to start from 1 again and complete 71 again. The fasts that are observed will be considered as nafl. It is forgivable to break it due to any acceptable excuse or misfortune. Women have to be paid continuously except for special breaks.

Kaffara, fidiya and sadaqatul fitr can be given to those who can accept zakat, that is, fard and wajib sadaqa. Namely: ‘Fakir, Miskin, Sadaqah worker, devoted person and new Muslim, slave, debtor, Jihad in the way of Allah and foreign traveler in danger.’ (Surah 9 Tawbah, verse: 70).

Donate for Iftar

Imam Tirmidhi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Hazrat Zayd bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

‘Whoever breaks the fast will be given the same virtue as the fasting person. However, this will not reduce the virtue of fasting.

Under the management of AJSM TRUST, Iftar and prayers are organized with the worshipers of 84 Jame Masjids across the country for 30 days of Ramadan every year.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Iftar items are distributed among the low-income, poor and helpless families in the area.

AJSM TRUST organizes Iftar and prayers with orphans in 7 orphanages for 30 days of Ramadan every year.

AJSM TRUST organizes Iftar and prayers with students at 7 Quran memorization centers for 30 days of Ramadan every year.

Under the management of AJSM TRUST, iftar is held every year for 30 days of Ramadan in 3 musafirkhanas.

Discussions and Iftar programs on the significance of the holy month of Ramadan are also organized in the capital city of the country.

If someone helps a poor fasting person financially for Iftar; He also broke his fast with that money; Again, saving some money is financially supportive; This will also include breaking the fast. And the poor will also benefit financially.

Donate for construction and expansion of mosques

AJSM TRUST has been constructing and operating 84 mosques in different districts of Bangladesh.

Devout Muslims are called to perform prayers in every mosque with Azan 5 times daily.

Due to the construction of the mosque, people in the area are able to perform prayers in the mosque 5 times a day.

In many rural areas, people are not able to perform their prayers properly as there are no mosques.

Religious ceremonies are celebrated in those mosques such as Eid Miladunnabi (R), Fateha e Yazdahum, Shabe Miraj, Shabe Barat, Shabe Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha and Milad Fateha and Doa ceremonies are organized on the day of death of various Auliya Kiram.

Efforts are made to eradicate illiteracy by taking up adult education activities through Imams.

Work is done to build a drug free society through imams of mosques in drug addicted areas.

To prevent coronavirus infection / AIDS / arsenic / leprosy / tuberculosis epidemic by raising awareness among the general public through imams.

To inspire the locals in religious consciousness.

To eradicate the dowry system from the society by informing the evils of the dowry system through the Imams and to make the general Muslims aware about the prevention of violence against women / men.

Informing the general musalli through Imam Sahib about the method of eradicating women and child traffickers.

Construction of new mosques including expansion and renovation of 84 mosques requires a lot of money.

Donate for the salary of the Khatib/Imam/Muazzin of the mosque

A Khatib / Imam / Muazzin is present in 84 mosques established by AJSM Trust in several coastal areas and islands including various cities, ports, rural areas of the country.

Rural The economic condition of most of the people in rural areas is not so good.Due to the financial crisis, the monthly honors of the Khatib / Imam and Muazzin of the mosque are almost left.

If the Khatibs / Imams in the mosque could be paid respectfully, it would be possible to conduct more religious work through them. This requires a lot of money.

Jahangiria Sufia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa, Ahle Suffa Sunnia Darse Nizami Madrasa, Bauphal Shahsufi Momtazia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa and Rangabali Jahangiria Shahsufi Mamtazia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa run by AJSM TRUST. Out of a total of 51 teachers in 4 madrasas, only 15 get government share in their salaries. The salaries of the remaining 36 teaching staff have to be carried out from the trust fund. That is why the salaries of the teaching staff are often in arrears.

Eid E Miladunnabi (R), Fateha e Yazdahum is celebrated with all national days in all madrasas established by AJSM TRUST.

Religious ceremonies are celebrated in those mosques such as Eid Miladunnabi (R), Fateha e Yazdahum, Shabe Miraj, Shabe Barat, Shabe Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha and Milad Fateha and Doa ceremonies are organized on the day of death of various Auliya Kiram.

আল্লাহ পাক বলেন-আমি মানব জাতিকে কেবল আমার ইবাদতের জন্যই সৃষ্টি করেছি। সূরা যারিয়াত, আয়াত-51/56

মানব জাতির ইবাদত পালনে ত্রুটি বিচ্যুতি হলে মহান আল্লাহ তা পুষিয়ে নেয়ারও ব্যবস্থা রেখেছেন। রোজা হল মহান আল্লাহর ইবাদতের মধ্যে অন্যতম । আর এই রোজা পালনে যে সকল ত্রুটি – বিচ্যুতি হয়ে থাকে , তা পুষিয়ে নেয়ার জন্য আল্লাহ ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর আদায়ের বিধান রেখেছেন । এ বিধান আমাদের সুবিধার্থে পরিবর্তন ও পরিমার্জন করা সমীচীন নয় । কেননা ইসলাম হ’ল একমাত্র অভ্রান্ত , ত্রুটিমুক্ত ও পূর্ণাঙ্গ জীবন ব্যবস্থা । দ্বীন ইসলাম যখন পূর্ণতা পেয়েছে , তখন অপূর্ণতার সংশয় মনে ঠাঁই দেয়া নিতান্তই র্মূখ।

ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর কার উপর ফরয :

ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর মুসলমান নারী – পুরুষ , ছোট – বড় , সকলের জন্য আদায় করা ফরয । এ মর্মে ইবনে ওমর ( রাঃ ) বলেন , রাসূলুল্লাহ ( দঃ ) স্বীয় উম্মতের ক্রীতদাস ও স্বাধীন , নারী ও পুরুষ , ছোট ও বড় সকলের উপর মাথা পিছু এক ছা ‘ পরিমাণ খেজুর বা যব ছদকাতুল ফিতরা হিসাবে ফরয করেছেন এবং তা ঈদগাহের উদ্দেশ্যে বের হওয়ার পূর্বেই আদায় করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন । ( বুখারী – মুসলিম , মিশকাত হা / ১৮১৫ ) । ঈদের দিন সকালেও যদি কেউ মৃত্যুবরণ করেন , তার জন্য ফিতরা আদায় করা ফরয নয় । আবার ঈদের দিন সকালে কোন বাচ্চা ভূমিষ্ঠ হলে তার পক্ষ থেকে ফিতরা আদায় করা ফরয । ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর হ’ল জানের ছদকা, মালের নয় । বিধায় জীবিত সকল মুসলিমের জানের ছদকা আদায় করা ওয়াজিব । কোন ব্যক্তি ছিয়াম পালনে সক্ষম হলেও তার জন্য ফিতরা ফরয । ( মিরআত ৬/১৮৫ পৃঃ )

ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতরের পরিমাণ :

প্রত্যেকের জন্য মাথাপিছু এক ছা ‘ খাদ্যশস্য ছদকাতুল ফিতর হিসাবে আদায় করতে হবে । ছা ‘ হচ্ছে তৎকালীন সময়ের এক ধরনের ওযন করার পাত্র । নবী করীম ( দঃ ) -এর যুগের ছা ‘ হিসাবে এক ছা ‘ – তে সবচেয়ে ভাল গম ২ কেজি ৪০ গ্রাম হয় । বিভিন্ন ফসলের ছা ‘ ওযন হিসাবে বিভিন্ন হয় । এক ছা ‘ চাউল প্রায় ২ কেজি ৫০০ গ্রাম হয় । তবে ওযন হিসাবে এক ছা ‘ গম , যব , ভুট্টা , খেজুর ইত্যাদি ২ কেজি ২২৫ গ্রামের বেশী হয় । ইরাকী এক ছা ‘ হিসাবে ২ কেজি ৪০০ গ্রাম অথবা প্রমাণ সাইজ হাতের পূর্ণ চার অঞ্জলী চাউল । বর্তমানে আমাদের দেশে এক ছা’তে আড়াই কেজি চাল হয় ।

ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর আদায় ও বণ্টনের সময়কাল:

ছাদাক্বাতুল ফিতর ঈদের দু’এক দিন পূর্বে আদায় ও পরে বণ্টন করা ওয়াজিব । ঈদুল ফিতরের পূর্বে ছাহাবায়ে কেরাম বায়তুল মাল জমাকারীর নিকটে ফিতরা জমা করতেন । ফিততা আদায়ের এটাই সুন্নাতী পন্থা, যা ঈদের ছালাতের পর হক্বদারগণের মধ্যে বণ্টন করতে হবে [ বুখারী হা / ১৫১১, যাকাত অধ্যায় অনুচ্ছেদ -77

রোজার কাযা ও কাফফারা

আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহ করে বান্দার জন্য রমজান মাসের রোজা ফরজ করেছেন। বান্দা তা সাগ্রহে পালন করে। যেকোনো কারণে সময়মতো রোজা রাখতে না পারলে, তা কাজা আদায় করতে হয় এবং রোজা রেখে কোনো ওজর বা অসুবিধার কারণে ভেঙে ফেললে তা-ও পরে কাজা আদায় করতে হয়। কাজা হলো একটি রোজার পরিবর্তে একটি রোজা। কাজা রোজা যেকোনো সময় সুবিধামতো আদায় করা যায়, সকল কাজা রোজা একত্রে আদায় করা জরুরি নয়। রোজা রেখে কোনো ধরনের ধোঁকায় বা তাড়নায় বিপথগামী হয়ে বিনা ওজরে তা ভঙ্গ করলে আল্লাহ তাআলা অত্যন্ত অসন্তুষ্ট হন। এর জন্য কাজা ও কাফফারা উভয় আদায় করতে হয়।

কাফফারা তিনভাবে আদায় করা যায়।

প্রথমত, একটি গোলাম আজাদ করা বা দাস মুক্ত করা,

দ্বিতীয়ত, ধারাবাহিকভাবে ৬০টি রোজা পালন করা।

তৃতীয়ত, ৬০ জন মিসকিনকে দুবেলা ভালোভাবে তৃপ্তিসহকারে আহার করানো বা আপ্যায়ন করা।

কাজা হলো একটি রোজার পরিবর্তে একটি, আর কাফফারা হলো ৬০টি। এ রকম ওজর ছাড়া যে কয়টা রোজা রেখে ভাঙবে প্রতিটির পরিবর্তে একটি করে কাজা এবং একই রমজান মাসের জন্য তার সঙ্গে যুক্ত হবে একটি কাফফারা। অর্থাৎ একটি রোজা যৌক্তিক কারণ ছাড়া ভাঙলে তার জন্য কাজা ও কাফফারা হবে ৬১টি রোজা, দুটি ভাঙলে হবে ৬২টি রোজা, তিনটি ভাঙলে হবে ৬৩টি রোজা। অনুরূপ ৩০টি ভাঙলে হবে ৯০টি রোজা।

কাফফারার রোজা একত্রে ধারাবাহিকতা রক্ষা করে আদায় করতে হয়। কারও যদি কাজা ও কাফফারাসহ মোট ৬১ বা তারও বেশি হয় তবে কমপক্ষে ৬১টি রোজা একটানা আদায় করতে হবে। কাফফারার রোজার মাঝে বিরতি হলে বা ভাঙলে আরেকটি কাফফারা ওয়াজিব হয়ে যাবে। অর্থাৎ ৬১ পূর্ণ হওয়ার আগে বিরতি হলে পুনরায় নতুন করে ১ থেকে শুরু করে ৬১ পূর্ণ করতে হবে। যে রোজাগুলো রাখা হলো তা নফল হিসেবে পরিগণিত হবে। কোনো গ্রহণযোগ্য ওজর বা আপদের কারণে ভাঙতে হলে তা ক্ষমার্হ। নারীদের বিশেষ বিরতির সময় বাদ দিয়ে ধারাবাহিকভাবে আদায় করতে হবে।

কাফফারা, ফিদইয়া ও সদাকাতুল ফিতর তাদেরকে দেওয়া যাবে, যাঁরা জাকাত তথা ফরজ ও ওয়াজিব সদকা গ্রহণ করতে পারেন। যথা: ‘ফকির, মিসকিন, সদকা কর্মী, অনুরক্ত ব্যক্তি ও নওমুসলিম, ক্রীতদাস, ঋণগ্রস্ত ব্যক্তি, আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ ও বিপদগ্রস্ত বিদেশি মুসাফির।’ (সুরা-৯ তাওবাহ, আয়াত: ৬০)।

আনজুমান এ জাহাঁগিরিয়া শাহসুফি মমতাজিয়া ট্রাস্ট (এজেএসএম ট্রাস্ট) বাংলাদেশে সরকার অনুমোদিতি একটি অ-লাভজনক ট্রাস্টী প্রতিষ্ঠান। আমরা সমগ্র বাংলাদেশে শতাধিক মসজিদ, মাদরাসা, এতিমখানা, মুছাফিরখানা, লিল্লাহ বোর্ডিং, কুরআন মুখস্থকারী কেন্দ্র ও করআন শিক্ষা কেন্দ্র প্রতিষ্ঠা করে পরিচালনা করছি। আমাদের এতিমখানা ও মুছাফিরখানায় সহস্রাধিক এতিম ও মুছাফির রয়েছে। কুরআন মুখস্থকরণ কেন্দ্রেও প্রচুর অসহায় পরিবারের সন্তানেরা  রয়েছে। এদের প্রতিপালন, খাবার ব্যবস্থাপনা, পোষাক, উন্নত চিকিৎসা সেবায় প্রচুর অর্থের প্রয়োজন।

তাই আপনারা যারা রোজার কাফফারা, ফিদইয়া ও সদাকাতুল ফিতর আদায় করবেন তাদের কাছে বিনীত আরজ আপনারা আমাদের সদকাতুল ফিতর, রোজার কাজা কাফফারা ফান্ডে দান করুন। 60জন মিসকিন ২ বেলা খাবার বাবদ ৳180 ডলার দান করুন। আমরা আপনার দানকৃত অর্থ যথাযথ কাজে ব্যয় করার জন্য প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।
