Aqiqah
With the arrival of a new life, the welfare of the newborn is possible by feeding the poor, orphans and relatives with Aqiqah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) added: “Every child is detained in exchange for Aqiqah. ” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi and other Sunan books).
Time to do Aqiqah
The best time for Aqiqah is the seventh day after the birth of the child. If you can’t give Aqiqah on the seventh day, you will give Akika on the 14th day. If you can’t do that, you will give Aqiqah. on the 21st day.
Animals suitable for Aqiqah
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Aqiqah should be given with two goats of the same age on behalf of the boy child and one goat on behalf of the girl child. (Ahmad and Tirmidhi). Aqiqah should be done with the type and age of goat or dumba which is valid for sacrifice.
Sacrifice
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Every wool of the sacrificial animal has a virtue written on it instead of every wool.
With the intention of donating the meat of the sacrifice to the orphans, the poor and the needy, you can sacrifice goats, goats, Khasi, sheep, ewes, cows, bulls, oxen, buffaloes, camels.
