AJSM TRUST has been constructing and operating 84 mosques in different districts of Bangladesh.
Our activities in the mosque
- Devout Muslims are called to perform prayers in the mosque with Azan 5 times daily.
- With the call to Fajr prayers, people are called to go from house to house and come to the mosque to offer prayers
- After performing Fajr prayers every day, prayers are offered for the donors through Milad Qiyam with the worshipers
- Every day after Fajr prayers, people visit the graveyard adjacent to the mosque and pray for the gravediggers.
- After performing the Fajr prayers through a skilled Imam, the children are taught the simple Qur’an without pay.
- Pre-primary education is given to children without pay through skilled imams.
- Efforts are being made to eradicate illiteracy in the society by continuing adult education activities through skilled imams.
- Through Imam, work is done to build a drug free society.
- Prevention of corona virus infection / AIDS / arsenic / leprosy / tuberculosis epidemic is carried out by raising awareness among the general public through imams.
- Through the Imam, work was done to eradicate the dowry system from the society.
- Ordinary devotees are made aware to prevent violence against men / women.
- The method of eradicating women and child traffickers was made known to the common musalli through the Imams.
- The people of the area are made aware of the do’s and don’ts of Islam through Imam Sahib.
- Religious ceremonies are celebrated in all mosques such as Eid-e-Miladunnabi (R), Fateha e Yazdahum, Shabe Miraj, Shabe Barat, Shabe Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha and Milad Fateha and Doa ceremonies are organized on the day of death of various Auliya Kiram.
In many rural areas, people are not able to perform their prayers properly as there are no mosques.
