AJSM TRUST has established 4 madrasas.
Jahangiria Sufia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa
Alhaj Shahsufi Maulana Mufti Syed Muhammad Mumtaz Ali (KCA), the father of the chairman of the trust, established this madrasa in 1990 at Kanchanabad Union No. 1 in Chandnaish upazila of Chittagong district on his own land. There are 12 teachers and 3 employees of MPO in this 3 storied building and 2 teachers are teaching in this madrasa from their own funds. Students come to this madrasa on foot from 5 villages in the rural areas to get education. Students study in this madrasa from children’s class to tenth class. According to the results of the students, this madrasa occupies the 1st place every year in Chandnaish upazila.
The madrasa needs extensive renovations and furniture, including an increase in classrooms for student growth. This requires a lot of money.
(B) Ahl-e-Suffa Sunnia Darse Nizami Madrasa
The Madrasa was established in 2014 in Kanchanabad Union No. 1 of Chandnaish Upazila under Chittagong District by the Chairman of the Trust at his Durbar Complex. In this madrasa, teaching is done from 5th class to Alim. There are 9 teachers in this madrasa run from full trust fund. In this madrasa special arrangements are made for the students to become proficient in Bengali, English, Arabic and Urdu.
There is a financial crisis to continue the teachers’ salary from their own funds. Regular teacher pay is not possible for this.
The madrasa needs extensive renovations and furniture, including the expansion of classrooms and residential rooms for student growth. This requires a lot of money.
(C) Bauphal Shahsufi Mumtazia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa
The Madrasa was established in 2012 by the chairman of the trust on 1 acre of land in Baga Union No. 6 of Baufal upazila under Patuakhali district. The madrasa is run entirely by its own funds with 12 teaching staff. Students from 12 villages in the rural areas come to this madrasa on foot for religious education. Students study in this madrasa from children’s class to tenth class. According to the results of the students, this madrasa is ranked 1st in Baufal upazila every year.
Due to the good results in the madrasa, extensive renovations and furniture are needed, including increasing the number of classrooms and residential rooms for student growth. This requires a lot of money.
(D) Rangabali Jahangiria Shahsufi Mamtazia Sunnia Dakhil Madrasa
The Madrasa was established in 2003 by the Chairman of the Trust on about 1 acre of land in Rangabali Union No. 1 of Rangabali Upazila under Patuakhali District. This madrasa was established in the southernmost coast of Bangladesh on the Bay of Bengal in Char Rangabali Upazila for the purpose of imparting religious education to the people. As the madrasa is located in the coastal area, the madrasa building is constantly submerged in the tidal waves called Cedar, Ayla, Bulbul. At this madrasa, religious and general education is being imparted to more than 600 students in Tin Shed building by 13 teachers and staff with its own funds.
Students study in this madrasa from children’s class to tenth class. According to the results of the students, this madrasa ranks 1st in Rangabali upazila every year.
Due to the good results in the madrasa, there is a need for extensive renovation and furniture, including increasing the number of classrooms and dormitories due to the increase in the number of students. As the Madrasa building is located in the coastal area, it is necessary to construct a multi-storied building to protect the building from any tidal wave. This requires a lot of money.
